Stretton Committee

Stretton Pre-School Committee - not just fundraising…..

‘The elected committee are the trustees of the pre-school, the people entrusted with the overall responsibility for ensuring that the pre-school runs successfully in accordance with its aim.’

Pre-School Learning Alliance

Stretton has a voluntary committee that works alongside the management team to help keep the pre-school running smoothly.  We are responsible for fundraising, and are closely involved in overseeing the finances and the overall business aspects of running the pre-school.  The committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting and meets each half-term.

We also organise fun events during the year to raise vital additional funds. The money is then available to buy toys and educational equipment, pay toward special events and to improve the environment of the two sites.  Past events have included Children’s Halloween Party, Summer & Christmas Fairs, Children’s Easter Party, Fashion Shows, Quiz & Race nights.

We are a friendly and approachable bunch and always happy to welcome new members to the committee.  If you have anything you wish to discuss about the pre-school or you would like to learn more about what is involved as a committee member or volunteer, please contact us via stretton.chair@yahoo.com or through the site contact numbers.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our fundraising events, or at pre-school!
