Main Street

Our Main Street pre-school is located in the spacious Amenity Centre building.  This allows us to use the front garden which is astro-turfed for year round use as well as the more sheltered and quiet courtyard area.  We occupy the Owen Pooley hall within the building we have a mixed ratio of children aged 2 years to 4 years, which is a fantastic learning opportunity in terms of sharing and looking after one another, this room is called the "Forest Room"

We are very proud that our OFSTED inspection which took place on 29 October 2019 and gave an overall rating of GOOD.  Please see our 'Forms & Letters' page to read the Main Street Ofsted report or CLICK HERE.  The inspectors wrote:
'Staff value each individual child. They provide an inclusive setting where everyone is welcome'
'Staff keep parents regularly updated about their children's achievements and progress. Parents speak highly of the setting'
'Staff demonstrate a good understanding of children's individual personalities and abilities'
'The setting is led and managed well'

Lunch Information
We recommend a SMALL and HEALTHY packed lunch as children also join in snack time during their session(s).  Drinks will be provided at lunchtime so it is not necessary to pack a drink. Could we ask that you use a SMALL, clearly named lunch box as it is easier for us to store them in our fridges.

We will send home any lunch box item that does not meet the above and if necessary provide an alternative item.
